Montgomery County Public Libraries is very pleased to announce our participation in the statewide Maryland Libraries Learning 2.0 - 23 Things project. MCPL begins 23Things as a pilot program that includes all Central Administration staff, Tech Management staff and several staff from Collection Management. The pilot program runs from July 30, 2007 through October 19, 2007. Registration for the pilot group closes on August 9, 2007.
Program Registration

You can cancel your registration anytime.

Information staff can earn 1.8 CEUs by completing this program.
Please contact your liaison, Kate Tavakolorian if you have questions about this project. Don't forget that she is not the instructor, though, as we encourage you to visit each other's blogs for ideas and help with the technologies.

How to get started
1. You will need to register your participation using the registration link shown above. Email me once you have registered.
2. I need your email telling me that you have registered so that I can set your permission to access the 23Things. You will receive an email inviting you to access the 23Things blog.
3. Access the MCPL 23 Things blog once again and select "23Things" from the right hand list of options.
4. You have until October 19 to complete the 23Things on the list. You may also go view other MCPL blogs during this program; and you can visit other library systems.

Have fun!
